Recruitment Would you like to become a highly trained, respected and vital member of the Care community? We are always looking for Care professionals – at all stages of training – to provide care and support for our Service Users and their families.
Requirements:- • Work Permit – You must have a UK working visa if you are from outside the UK. • Police Checks: To protect our Service Users every new employee is vetted by the Disclosure & Barring (DBS) before joining Forget Me Not Care Limited. This includes a Protection of Vulnerable Adults check (POVA). • Training – All our Carers are required to attend all induction courses written and set down by Forget Me Not Care Ltd.
• The course teaches the principles of Care and the role of the Care worker, maintaining safety at work, how to communicate effectively and how to recognise and respond to Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults. Within 6 months of employment with Forget Me Not Care Limited all employees are required to complete our Induction Programme, which includes six mandatory courses: 1. The 15 Care Standards 2. Moving and Handling 3. Medication 4. Health and Safety 5. Food Hygiene 6. Dementia
Forget Me Not Care Limited employs full-time In-House Trainers, trained to Practice Teacher Award (PTA) PTLLS Level 4 certified in all Care-related courses set down by the Skills for Care Council. Further more, we regularly invite guest speakers to address staff on issues relating to our service users health conditions.
We also use outside bodies for some training courses.
