Staff All of our staff carry identification badges, please ask to see these before inviting them into your home. All our staff are police checked and undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and Protection of Vulnerable Adults check (POVA). They all have a comprehensive induction programme and ongoing training to enable them to carry out their work. We only employ staff that have undertaken or are willing to work towards a diploma in care and complete the 15 standards of the Care Certificate.
Smoking and Alcohol Care workers are NOT allowed to smoke in your home, do not allow your care worker to smoke even if you do. We ask service users to refrain from smoking whilst our staff are with you. Staff are NOT allowed to consume alcohol during working hours, and must NOT start work under the influence of alcohol. If members of staff are found to be doing any of the above, disciplinary action will be taken.
